Administrative Assistants are a vital part of Cleveland Clinic’s operations, enabling caregivers to focus on patient care while improving coordination among nursing teams, administrative staff, and providers. In this role, you will answer questions about payroll, order supplies, and coordinate meetings. You will serve as a direct line of communication between managers and the department, while supporting frontline staff through various activitiesfacilitatedon behalf of the management team. As part of this team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with skilled colleagues and accessnumerouseducational resources to further develop your skills.


A caregiver in this positionworksdays |full-time|8:00am—5:00pm|roleis hybrid 3 days in office, 2 days at home.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Manage and prioritize multiple assignments simultaneously and effectively.

  • Actas a liaison between internal and external customers by greeting customers, answering, andtriagephone calls.

  • Administer calendar and schedule management.

  • Compose and prepare a variety of correspondence (e.g., reports, forms, presentation materials, messages, etc.) asrequired.

  • Provide coverage of other areas such as front end, point ofserviceand registration.

  • Coordinate management functions andassistin special projects.


Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • HighSchoolDiploma or GED

  • Three years of office experience

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)


Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Associate’sDegree

  • Typingproficiencyof 35 wpm with accuracy

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods

  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment

  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information

  • In some locations, ability to move up to 20 pounds

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $16.47

Maximum hourly: $23.61

The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.).
