Cleveland Clinic's Neurological Institute announces a search for a clinical neuropsychologist with specialization in adult neuropsychology to join our dynamic and growing Neuropsychology section in Northern Ohio. The successful candidate will join the staff of the Neuropsychology Section at the Cleveland Clinic, which currently consists of 17 neuropsychologists, 2 postdoctoral residents, practicum students, and 15 psychometrists.

This is a clinical position that will serve the needs of patients at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital in Akron, OH (about 40 miles south of Cleveland). The neuropsychologist will provide neuropsychological services for adult patients with a broad range of issues, including neurologic conditions (brain tumor, stroke, dementia, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, concussion, and others), mood and anxiety disorders, and other cognitive concerns. The clinical practice model is based on neuropsychologist interview and interpretation, supported by psychometrist-administered testing. While the position is geared primarily toward neuropsychological assessment, opportunities for cognitive rehabilitation and psychotherapy may also be available. Teaching opportunities include supervision of practicum students and teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows in many disciplines. The successful applicant will be eligible for appointment to the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine at a level commensurate with experience. In addition to clinical and educational roles, collaborative research activities may be developed based on applicant interest.

Applicants must have completed a doctoral degree from an APA- or CPA-accredited psychology program, an internship with experience in neuropsychology, and a postdoctoral fellowship with specialization in neuropsychology. Eligibility for licensure inOhiois essential.Eligibility for or certification by the American Board of Professional Psychology in Clinical Neuropsychology is strongly preferred.

The salary range displayed in this job posting reflects the anticipated salary range for new physicians hired into full-time (100% FTE) positions. This range is generally aligned with or below the 50th percentile of nationally recognized compensation benchmarks by specialty. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined in accordance with fair market value, considering factors such as professional experience, clinical expertise, board certification, work history, and FTE. This stated range excludes the value of Cleveland Clinic's comprehensive benefits package, which includes healthcare, dental, vision, retirement, and other offerings.

Pay Range

Minimum salary: $135,000

Maximum salary: $175,000
