The Department of Nursing at the University of South Dakota (USD) is seeking applications for a full-time clinical nursing faculty member located on the Sioux Falls campus.

This is a 9-month, full-time position that provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to the education and development of future nurses in a supportive and dynamic academic environment. The faculty member will be responsible for providing clinical instruction in direct patient care and the simulation and lab setting for pre-licensure students.

Responsibilities:
· Clinical teaching in direct patient care, lab and simulation.
· Evaluation of student learning.
· Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
· Contribution to departmental service activities.

Required Qualifications:
· Current unencumbered nursing license, eligible for licensure in South Dakota.
· Minimum of a master’s degree in nursing from a nationally accredited program prior to starting the position.
· Ability to travel between Sioux Falls and Vermillion campus.

Preferred Qualifications:
· Strong nursing background with experience in medical-surgical nursing.
· Experience teaching in a baccalaureate of higher degree program.
· Ability to work with technology.
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
