Job Description

The Participant Research, Interventions, and Measurement Core (PRISM) CORE is seeking a PRN Research Specialist I to provide support to researchers conducting qualitative data collection and analysis. 


Position Highlights: 

  • The position is remote and hours are flexible as it is a PRN (As Needed) position.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing qualitative data collection plans and tools (i.e. interview guides).
  • Conducting structured interviews and focus groups (in person or on the phone).
  • Coding and analyzing qualitative data.
  • Transcribing audio data (software-assisted or manual).
  • Tracks effort and time spent performing core-related duties in the shared resources billing system.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Associates Degree required, Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Anthropology, Public Health or other Population Science field preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in qualitative research including data collection and analysis in an academic or clinical setting.
  • Strong computer and telephone skills required.
  • Must be fully bilingual in both English and Haitian Creole. 
  • Experience with NVivo analysis software preferred.
  • Annual Human Subjects Training from the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) preferred.
