Job Description

The Wang laboratory is seeking a Research Technologist to perform cutting-edge research into the mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases. The laboratory is located within the Bloomberg School of Public Health, and is dedicated to the study of mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases. Equally important to our mission is the training of the next generation of biomedical researchers.



The successful candidate will perform laboratory experiments with training and general supervision by the principal investigator. The candidate will have the opportunity to work on one or more of several projects available in the lab focusing on biological pathways related to neurodegenerative diseases.



Specific Duties & Responsibilities

Performing laboratory experiments as part of a collaborative scientific team.
Documenting, compelling, and analyzing experimental data accurately.
Reporting findings in oral and written formats.
Participating in lab maintenance.


Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry or related field.


Preferred Qualifications
Some related post-undergraduate work experience.
