As part of the Digital Finance organization, our team focuses on creating, configuring, and operating digital products, platforms, and solutions that facilitate Pfizer's core finance functions. This includes areas such as Financial Consolidations, Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting, Treasury, Tax, Compliance, and Internal and External Reporting.

As a Senior Manager, you will lead the best-in-class Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) operations. In this hands-on technical position, you will manage the outsourced operations team who performs the day to day maintenance of Oracle EPM Cloud Financial Consolidation Close Management (FCCS), and Enterprise Budgeting, Planning, and Forecasting (EPBCS) applications. Implement and manage master data through the proficient use of the Oracle EPM Cloud Enterprise Data Management (EDMCS) tool. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will define and implement enhancements while providing technical leadership and guidance throughout the process.

The ideal candidate for this role should have a comprehensive understanding of consolidations, budgeting, forecasting, planning, and reporting processes, along with their practical application in solving intricate business challenges. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Offer exceptional technical and functional expertise, while managing daily operational maintenance activities related to financial consolidations, corporate operating plans, budgeting, and forecasting planning cycles.
  • Oversee the activities of a globally outsourced vendor team providing support services.
  • Oversee and maintain comprehensive documentation and processes to ensure SOX compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Continually update and maintain advanced technical knowledge in all areas concerning EPM Cloud financial consolidation & planning solutions and stay abreast of industry trends.
  • Effectively communicate complex technical information to both functional and technical team members, as well as management, in a clear and comprehensible manner.
  • Proactively identify and seize opportunities for continuous improvement, aiming to enhance system performance and end-user functionality.
  • Assist in transitioning newly developed applications into the support model, ensuring a smooth handoff and minimal disruption to users.
  • Maintain and regularly update support operating procedures and work instructions to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Support compliance activities, including preparation for audits, execution of disaster recovery plans, and other related tasks.
  • Drive operational efficiencies by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and implementing innovative solutions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or similar field
  • 7 years of demonstrated experience working in development and/or support teams
  • 5 years of demonstrated experience working in Oracle Hyperion Suite with sound knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
    • Deep technical and functional understanding of Oracle FCCS and EPBCS applications, including configuration, administration, and support.
    • Expertise in Oracle EPM Cloud FCCS for financial consolidation, including metadata management, rule definition, data forms, and task manager configuration.
    • Experience with FCCS data management tools and ability to develop and maintain FDMEE/Data Management scripts.
    • Proficiency in designing and developing Oracle EPM Cloud EPBCS planning forms, scripts, and business rules/calculation.
    • Experience with EPBCS and FCCS integrations and migrations.
    • Experience with Oracle EPM Cloud Data Management (EDMCS) tool.
    • Knowledge of Essbase BSO/ASO cube build and maintenance.
    • Knowledge of SmartView reporting and deployment
  • Experience with database technologies (Oracle)
  • Experience with ETL Tools (ODI, Informatica, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management capabilities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Pharmaceutical life science domain experience
  • Experience to Finance reporting applications
  • Experience with SOX Controls and annual audits documentations
  • Project Management expertise in managing multiple projects.
  • Familiar with SDLC/Agile methodologies
  • Exposure to DevOps processes

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Job will require working with global teams and applications.
  • Flexible working schedule will be needed on occasion to accommodate planned agile sprint planning and system releases as well as unplanned/on-call level 3 support.
  • Potential travel required for critical project work < 10%.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $117,300.00 to $195,500.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
