ROLE SUMMARY

As a key member of the Specialty Care Leadership team, the Vice President US Dermatology Lead will be responsible for overseeing and growing Pfizer’s Dermatology portfolio comprising of launch and established assets (Cibinqo, Litfulo and Eucrisa) across atopic dermatitis and alopecia areata. The US Dermatology Lead will set the portfolio strategy, maximize performance and patient impact and serve as a leader of brand leaders and portfolio functions (ie customers, market access etc).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop portfolio level strategy for the Dermatology franchise include marketing, access and sales approach
  • Accountable for the P&L of the Dermatology franchise assessing key metrics on an ongoing basis
  • Partner with cross functional leads including sales, customer engagement, medical, legal and access to set priorities and identify growth opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to challenge the status quo to grow the assets in the portfolio
  • Partner as appropriate with key organizations to establish Pfizer as a leader in the dermatology space
  • Responsible for the annual operating plan including revenue and expense recommendations
  • Oversee an organization of 20+ colleagues and ~7 direct reports demonstrating  a joyful, collaborative and people first mindset
  • Partner with Global, CSI and business development to evaluate future growth opportunities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • 15+ years pharmaceutical experience, to include US market experience
  • Launch experience required
  • Demonstrated strategic acumen and bold move thinking
  • Proven ability manage complex markets and projects
  • Strong people leader with demonstrated ability to lead through change
  • Demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo
  • Experience in leading and motivating cross functional teams with direct or indirect experience
  • Mastery of the P&L and strong financial acumen
  • Strong executive presence and experience with senior level executives
  • Ability to problem-solve and make decisions in fast-paced environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior team leadership
  • Deep experience in the US
  • Dermatology experience preferred, but not required

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Domestic travel expected for POAs, congresses, and internal and external meetings

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $239,300.00 to $398,900.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 30.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
