What You Will Achieve

Working with a dynamic team of Logistics and Supply Chain experts, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing mid-to long-term supply chain strategies and networks through a range of activities. Some of the activities that you will manage include addressing capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business growth and execution of new programs. Your team will rely on your management skills while forecasting and planning key events, and new product launches. Your breadth of experience will be leveraged for increasing effectiveness of supply chain initiatives through monitoring key performance indicators and coordinating cross-functional work teams.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Functional subject matter expert (SME) and is the responsible person for executing System transactions supporting the Virtual Site Operating Teams.
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate movement of product within the ES portfolio.
    • Incoming documents flow management from all external suppliers.
    • Be in charge of receipt of all orders in SAP. Make sure transactions are performed on time.
    • Reassure that all downstream transactions in delivery are executed without errors and in case of errors, analyze and correct them.
    • Organize and support document retention for the Supply chain Planning team.
    • Follow up shipment of the orders with agreed carriers and monitor the shipments until delivery and release in the market.
  • He/She is the secondary Supply Chain SME and supports the Planner/Snr Planner/Planning Manager thru the collection, maintenance and analysis of supply chain information and recommending solutions to improve processes and performance.
  • He/She will also be responsible for understanding each Contract Manufacturer (CM) site or Pfizer Global Supply (PGS) site requirements for receiving material and ensure correct documentation is included for each shipment. Must also collaborate with Global Supply Chain (GSC) with any transportation initiative
  • Collaborates with the Planner/Snr Planner/Planning Manager and ES Finance regarding any invoice resolution issues.
  • Participates in cross functional teams to resolve supply issues. Assist in establishing scheduling priorities in collaboration with the Operations Manager, contract manufacturer supply chain counter-part, other PGS sites and GSC to avoid backorders.
  • Responsible for generating supply chain metrics within the GES organization.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration; or equivalent through experience.
  • Fluent in English as a working language
  • Minimum 1 year experience working on supply chain management activities.
