What You Will Achieve?
You will be part of Pfizer’s dynamic Market Access team and will manage the important role of creating and executing comprehensive Market Access strategies through working collectively with payers, reimbursement influencers and decision makers to ensure that continuously changing reimbursement systems remain fair to everyone. You will conduct strategic studies with patients and payers in mind and conduct health economics and outcomes research to design pricing strategy. You will be proactive in maximizing market update by communicating with external stakeholders and discussing the value proposition of the therapeutic area drugs. Through your expertise and extensive knowledge, you will be able to foster a culture that promotes innovation and thrives on doing better for Pfizer’s patients and healthcare.
How You Will Achieve It?
Your responsibilities and exposure will span pre-launch to mature phase, including:
Pricing Principle and Guidelines
Market Access Strategy
Cross-functional partnership with Marketing, Regulatory and Medical and Regional Team
Enlistment & affordability:
Critically appraise clinical evidence and payers’ value proposition
Identify competitors and pricing in different therapeutic areas
Apply products’ value propositions, real world evidence and budget impact model for dossier submission
Identify key opinion leaders (KOLs) and their organizational relationships in key stakeholder groups (payer, patient and physician)
Identify opportunities for enhancing patient affordability in partnership with marketing team
Pricing:
Support pricing submission and annual pricing update in Jade
Patient- Centric:
Engage and support patient groups in patient centric program
Ensure Patient Assistance Programme (PAP) reporting in a timely manner
Education
Degree qualifications in medical science, pharmacy, business, public health or related disciplines
Experience
Understanding of the pricing/reimbursement environment, health technology assessment and the government review process
Knowledge and experience preparing and submitting dossiers, working experience in pharmaceutical industry will be a plus
