The Pillon Lab is seeking a technician to carry out routine laboratory procedures as directed. The lab's research program applies biochemistry, structural biology, molecular biology, and computational biology to understand the function and regulation of disease-linked RNA binding proteins.

-Cryo-EM Structures of the SARS-CoV-2 Endoribonuclease Nsp15. Nature Communications (2021)
-Cryo-EM Reveals Active Site Coordination Within a Multienzyme pre-rRNA Processing Complex. Nature Structural and Molecular Biology (2019)
-Grc3 programs the essential endoribonuclease Las1 for specific RNA cleavage. PNAS (2017)
Documents results and prepares them for presentation.
Maintains lab equipment and supplies inventory.
Assists with lab ordering and maintaining an up-to-date lab inventory
Manages cryotanks and refrigerators.
Manages transfers and activities in collaboration with other labs.
Associate's degree in a Basic Science or related field. Two years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
One year of relevant experience.
Associate's degree in physical or biological sciences and one years of experience in laboratory work.
Experience with computational analysis.
Experience with structural biology.
