JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Penn State University College of Medicine, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and the lab of Dr. Zhonghua Gao , in Hershey, PA is seeking a Researcher. The lab is located in the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department has joint support from the Cancer Institute. The lab has a broad interest in understanding how chromatin modifications by epigenetic regulators affect mammalian development as well as diseased states, such as autism spectrum disorders.

This position requires previous experience in working with chromatin biology, transcription and signaling transduction in both embryonic stem cells and animal models. Expertise in in vitro brain organoid culturing is highly desired.

Motivated candidates with a PhD degree in Biology and preferably a postdoctoral training for at least two years in related fields are encouraged to apply. This is a limited-term non-tenure line position funded for one year from date of hire, with possibility of refunding.
