Job Description
Summary
Dr. Wei Li's laboratory at Department of Ophthalmology, Cullen Eye Institute, Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a talented and motivated Postdoctoral Associate. Our translational research focuses on development of novel therapies to treat ocular vascular diseases, including diabetic retinopathy, wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and retinopathy of prematurity.

Job Duties

Performs animal procedures in our research, including:
-
intravitreal injection,
-
subretinal injection,
-
corneal surgery,
-
retinal dissection in adult and neonatal mice.

Minimum Qualifications
- MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
- No experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- This position requires previous experience in animal research.
- Knowledge of ophthalmology, and experience in ophthalmic or animal surgery skills.
