The Laboratory Helper work work in a lab that studies adipose tissue biology utilizing a combination of cell and molecular biology techniques, sequencing and animal models. Laboratory training will be provided.
Prepare standard solutions and culture media
Perform PCR genotyping of the mice
Organize and maintain stock of lab supplies
Assist with assigned research experiments
Assist the lab members with performing assigned research experiments and help the principal investigator organize the lab supplies and manage overall maintenance of the laboratory
High School diploma or GED.
No experience required.
Currently enrolled in science related undergraduate degree.
