HLTH | Health Center Laboratory
Summary of Job Duties:
The Medical Technologist is responsible for performing, analyzing, and interpreting clinical laboratory tests. This position will work collaboratively with medical, nursing, fellow lab employees, x-ray, and administrative/support staff. Other duties as assigned.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job function of this job, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, chemistry, microbiology, or a related field from an accredited institution of higher education
At least two years of experience in medical technology or a related field
Certified Clinical Medical Laboratory Assistant (CMLA) with American Medical Technologists: Certified Medical Laboratory Technician (M.L.T.) OR Medical Technologist (M.T.) with American Medical Technologists (AMT) OR American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP)
$38,000 - $40,000 (commensurate with education and experience)
