Job DescriptionThere is an immediate opening for a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. Ming Yang’s lab in Radiation Physics Department in MD Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC). The candidate will be mainly responsible for exploring/implementing deep-learning-based approaches for applications in particle radiation therapy, such as individualized treatment modality selection, robust treatment planning, outcome prediction, etc.
Key qualifications for the position:
1. Ph.D. in medical physics, physics, engineering or other physical sciences
2. Experience in deep learning preferred
3. Strong programming skills
4. Strong mathematical background
5. Strong communication and inter-personal skills
Each position is renewable annually upon satisfactory performance. The pay scale follows the current NIH postdoc salary standard.
