Immediate opening for a postdoctoral fellow position in the Longworth laboratory in the Department of Inflammation and Immunity at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute. Our lab investigates the role of DNA organizing complexes in innate immune responses to bacterial and viral infections, and to endogenous retrovirus and retrotransposon expression. We are seeking highly motivated individuals with experience and knowledge of techniques in molecular biology, genetics, and biochemistry. Candidate must be familiar with cultivation of cell lines. Familiarity with lenti- and retroviral based systems of nucleic acid delivery, with CRISPR/Cas9, and with chromatin based biochemical assays including ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq, and 4C-seq are advantages.
