Job DescriptionThe Chaput lab at the University of California, Irvine is seeking highly qualified applicants for postdoctoral positions in molecular and cellular biology to advance the development of oligonucleotide therapeutics. Candidates will work on a range of translational research projects from directed enzyme evolution and microfluidics to cellular assay development and functional analysis. Salary and duration of the position will be commensurate with experience. Review of applications will begin immediately until the position is filled.
Requirements - Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Cellular Biology, Biotechnology or a related field of science. The ideal candidate will have a strong record of scientific accomplishments through peer reviewed publications. Candidates should demonstrate high productivity, creativity, independent thought, and strong oral and written communication skills.
