Job DescriptionSeveral Postdoc positions are available for Research Center for Nanorobotics in Brain (RCNB) and Intelligent Medical Robotics Laboratory (iMR Lab) (http://medrobotics.gist.ac.kr) at Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), South Korea
• Blood Brain Barriers, Magnetic Hyperthermia and Magnetic Particle Imaging for Brain Nano-robots
-The research will be focused on developing an electromagnetic medical robot to monitor and guide, stimulate magnetic nanoparticles inside a body. The main purpose of the research is to implement a non-invasive medical robot using Magnetic Particle Imaging(MPI) and an external magnetic control system for brain and cancer treatments. The researcher needs to cooperate with neuroscience researchers and medical doctors with animal experiments and evaluations. Thus, all the researchers who have major backgrounds of Blood Brain Barriers (BBB), magnetic nanoparticles for hyperthermia, Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI), Magnetic Particle Imaging(MPI), electro-magnetic system, and robotics are possible to apply to this position.
-Annual salary ranges from US $35,000 (₩1,000 for 1$) to $50,000 depending on the applicant’s experience and capability.
