A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in the Cleveland Clinic.
A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available to study liver organogenesis, physiology, and pathology in the Department of Inflammation and Immunity at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute. We use the zebrafish model to study the molecular pathologies of human liver diseases, including NASH and cholestatic liver disease. Research projects involve genetic, biochemical, and bioinformatic approaches utilizing the zebrafish model and human biospecimens.
We are seeking highly motivated recent graduates with a Ph.D. and/or MD with relevant research experience. Applicants should have research experience in cell biology, molecular biology, developmental biology, or a closely related field. The ideal candidate will have experience in developmental genetics. Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
