Job DescriptionA postdoctoral scholar position to study human monocyte heterogeneity in autoimmune diseases is available at the laboratory of Prof. Elizabeth Mellins at Stanford University School of Medicine. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply cutting edge approaches to analyze human monocyte phenotype and function. Additionally, the candidate will have ample opportunities to take advantage of the vibrant scientific community of Stanford University and surrounding area. We are seeking an independent, self-motivated and enthusiastic candidate with a recent PhD in a relevant field (immunology, molecular biology or related). Experience in sterile tissue culture techniques and flow or mass cytometry are preferred. Familiarity with genomic techniques such as ATAC-seq and RNA-seq is highly desirable.
